this comes as a low tech item - CD quality cdr with printed and laquered label DIY packaged in a slim cardboard cover with stuck on artwork - actually we could have done "jewel" cases for the same price but prefer cardboard!

about

this, the third dustdevil & crow album is officially out on 1st September 2011.

you can download this for free or pay a little if you so wish! Our recordings have mostly been distributed "virally" over the web, which means that people are able to get them free on various sites if they wish, so it seems pointless to set a minimum price here - but on the other hand, if you wish to support our enterprise, here is an opportunity to do so!

Track Name: some days i was so alone
"moving alone thro an alien country,
learning to be an ardship to myself,
learning to be my own black dog..."

hitchiking thro australia i had a copy of the russel hoban novel "pilgerman" in my rucksac, but the ardship and the black dog alluded to here are characters from another hoban novel - "riddley walker" - which I've been reading and rereading for over 20 years and which seems more and more relevant to the world around me...
